INGREDIENTS
400g of lean mince
4 x Tbspn of Oats
1 x Garlic clove
Pinch of paprika
Meatball sauce
1 x brown onion
2 x carrots diced
2 x garlic gloves
500g of buckwheat pasta spirals
500g of crushed organic tomatoes
METHOD
Heat slow cooker and add oil in.
Add onion, carrots and garlic to a fry pan and fry on low for 1 minute.
Empty the fry pan into the slow cooker and add the Diced tomatoes and heat on low whilst you make the meatballs
MAKING MEATBALLS
- Tip mince in to a bowl
- Add oats, garlic, black pepper, oregano and paprika in and mix everything in with your hands
- Divide in to individual lumps should be able to make 15
- Roll a little bit of oil on each of them and add them to the tomato sauce in the slow cooker
- Slow cook for 6 hours
- Add to buckwheat pasta and sprinkle fetta cheese over the top as well as parsley
- Serve with a green salad
